Sea transportation connecting Bali and Lombok now offers improved service through Wahana Virendra’s new fast boat, the Cantika 09, launched in April 2026. This new vessel aims to provide a prime option for travelers who prioritize punctuality when crossing via Wahana Virendra’s routes.

The Cantika 09 offers a smoother, faster, and more comfortable journey from Padang Bai Harbor to the Gili Islands and Senggigi in Lombok, and vice versa. Built as a 36-metre aluminium catamaran, it carries up to 360 passengers in VIP (120 seats) and Executive (240 seats) classes, with full air conditioning, TVs and an outdoor deck. The twin-hull design gives a more stable ride, which may help passengers who often experience discomfort or seasickness on the water.
