Wahana Gili Ocean V
Wahana Gili Ocean V is a fast boat run by Wahana Virendra, with daily departures from Padang Bai, Bali to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Senggigi, Lombok. It also connects Sanur and Nusa Penida, making it an easy choice for island hopping from Bali. Wahana Gili Ocean V leaves Padang Bai twice a day for Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Senggigi in Lombok. Padang Bai, on Bali’s east coast, is the closest harbour for reaching the Gili Islands. The crossing takes about 1.5 hours to Gili Trawangan, 2 hours to Gili Air and 2 hours 45 minutes to Senggigi, depending on sea conditions. Heading to Nusa Penida? Wahana Virendra Rose is a fast boat that takes you from Padang Bai in Bali to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Bangsal in Lombok. Launched in 2025, the Rose is a 24.25-metre fast boat with room for up to 148 passengers. Sea transportation connecting Bali and Lombok now offers improved service through Wahana Virendra’s new fast boat, the Cantika 09, launched in April 2026. This new vessel aims to provide a prime option for travelers who prioritize punctuality when crossing via Wahana Virendra’s routes. The Cantika 09 offers a smoother, faster, and more comfortable journey from Padang Bai Harbor to the Gili Islands and Senggigi in Lombok, and vice versa. Built as a 36-metre aluminium catamaran, it carries up to 360 passengers in VIP (120 seats) and Executive (240 seats) classes, with full air conditioning, TVs and an outdoor deck. The twin-hull design gives a more stable ride, which may help passengers who often experience discomfort or seasickness on the water.
